Final blog reflection week 34
This year in physics has been a challenging yet great year. As science being my worst subject I was challenged to be on top of my game and pay close attention throughout this year in physics. By me working to excel in this in physics class this year became ranked as on of the best science class I've ever taken. Reasons why it became one of the best was strongly because of Mr. Abud, his understanding and commitment to the students and his craft as a teacher was remarkable. Even though I was often frustrated by all the projects we had this year it made up because it was joy to be I'm the class even if it was science FIRST HOUR -_- (which is a challenge of its own). Using the 4 star grading scale as used in any of Mr. Abud's classes I would rank the 2012/13 1st hour physics class as a 3.78601236...yes that was necessary. My ability and my groups capability to complete lab experiments and whiteboards assignment grew over the year because we all became comfortable with our teacher, our peers in the class, and the class room environment. I like how we were able to work in groups for our projects when direction, but honestly my favorite project this year was the spaghetti bridge only because that was one of our first projects and I worked with Taylor and Hannah and because we excelled on this project. One of the worst projects for me was the next ins cradle just because I sucked at it. The blog app and google drive was like my best friend in physics I loved how we were able to use our devices. I blogging reflections we kinda bad just because I waited the last minute to create them sometimes (oops) even though I began the year great with the blogs. But the one thing I hated were the weekly assessments just because they were every week and I didn't know how to study for them but my skill of assessment taking improved in some areas. I also didn't like the grading system with having to go to a separate website to check out grades but I liked how we got personal feedback from grades and were able to reassess when needed. But if I had to change anything it would be assessment taking ever two weeks instead the end of each week and it would be more in class projects. Other than that I appreciate this year in Physics so thank you Mr. Abud and have a great summer.
