Week 32

This week in physics was a scaring yet entertaining week. This week we began looking at static electricity, electrons and air particles. Our first experiment of the week was cutting up pieces of tape, paper and aluminum foil and recording there reaction to each other. We observed an recorded whether each attached or repelled when putting the tape near each material. We recorded if the charges were positively, negatively, or neutral charged. This week we also witness a magnetic ball as some were intimidated by it when we saw how it works. The magnetic ball is a static electricity ball that sends off a electric shock. People were able to test out the call as we watched people's hair fly up and shock others with one hand in the ball and as others touched them. I was even able to touch the ball and was in a train line with two others, we noticed that the magnetic ball electricity can go through people and still send a shock. Anyway certain people also went to Cedar Point as a class physics trip. We had so much fun as my group and I went on a scavenger hunt around cedar point and road roller coasters. My group consisted of Taylor, Hannah, Mary, Carmen and I and we finished the hung in success and learned things about the coasters/rides that we didn't know.

Don't mind the picture and our looks from the heat and frustration lol....it was sort of off guard.
